Beyonce Knowles

Beyonce Knowles was born on September 4^th, 1981 in Houston TX. Beyonce began her singing career at the age of 7 when she auditioned for a part in a child’s singing group called Girl’s Tyme, which also included Beyonce’s cousin. The girls of that group, including Beyonce Knowles, continued singing together until in 1998, when they came onto the music scene as Destiny’s Child. In 2001, the girls of Destiny’s Child won 2 Grammys, and the following year, Beyonce began her solo career with the help of rapper, Jay-Z and in 2003 she received another Grammy from her collaboration with Luther Vandross. Beyonce Knowles began an acting career in 2001 with an MTV movie, and in 2002 she graced the big screen opposite Mike Myers in the movie Austin Powers in Goldmember. She has gone on to help reform Destiny’s Child, has made several more movies, and is romantically linked to rapper Jay-Z.
